AWS Class E410NiMo-16 electrodes feature a balanced composition of iron, chromium, nickel, and molybdenum, providing high corrosion resistance and mechanical strength. Typically, the electrode contains approximately 11–13% chromium, 1% nickel, and 0.5–1.0% molybdenum, with controlled carbon content for weldability. Mechanically, welds produced with E410NiMo-16 exhibit excellent tensile strength, around 580–750 MPa, with good impact toughness and hardness suitable for structural applications. The electrode’s formulation ensures minimal cracking, reliable fusion, and consistent deposition rates, making it ideal for high-stress environments requiring both durability and resistance to corrosion.
